Yoga Sports


A week-long intensive Level 1 Yoga for Athletes Instructor certification in a beautiful, intimate location with a maximum of 8 people.

This Sports Yoga program focuses on the application of yoga breathing and posture practices for athletes of all sports.

Topics include:

Breath analysis: Analyse the breathing patterns of sport and develop a breathing practise to improve respiratory efficiency during effort.

Movement patterns: Decipher key movements for optimal power and speed and introduce postures to training programs to optimise the body's performance.

Breath retention: Train the body to improve lactate buffering, lower blood pressure and reduce heart rate through breath retention.

Ayurveda explored: Changing food into medicine, thought into action and movement into knowledge.
